All Plastic Laminating brush 50mm (2")
A brush perfectly designed for the laminating trade. The brush is perfect for GRP manufacturing but can also be used for other projects and decorating tasks. They have a unique blend of short synthetic bristles offering a flexible but firm bristle head making them ideal for stippling resins into mats and neatly applying gel / topcoat to a neat flat finish. The handle is manufactured with a comfortable beavertail shaped plastic handle which is designed so it can be easily hung for display or drying, as they are made from a solvent resistant plastic and bristle adhesive they can be easily cleaned in acetone.
One of the main and unique features of this brush is that it has a plastic ferule holding it’s bristles rather than the usual metal ferrules found on other brushes. This plastic ferrule eliminates the risk of deep scratches or gouges in your mould which tends to be the starting cause of most deterioration in moulds surfaces, as well as added finishing time and production costs on de-moulded items. Laminators in our own workshop have described these brushes as the best they have ever used.
