Ampro pump sets available for 4 KG and 1.3 KG pack sizes.
Each pack contains 2 pumps, one for resin and one for hardener, which will dispense the product at the correct ratio. Instructions are included.
They work well and last - at least until the end of a 5kg pack (which other brands don't). I haven't found that they are really transferable to a new pack - so best treated as a consumable. Once in use, keep them in a warm storage cupboard; the resin pump clogs up in lower workshop temperatures (recoverable by warming - but a pain to have to do so !)
Response:
Thank you taking the time to leave a review of this product. Epoxies will crystalise if cold, much like honey does at low temperatures, so yes, clogging will occur if not thoroughly cleaned out before next use. Flush the hardener pump out thoroughly with warm water, no soap , just water. And use denatured alcohol for the resin pump. Or if you plan to use them quite soon again, simply keep the pumps stored at room temperature wrapped in shrink wrap. Don’t let them fall below 10 degC in storage if the pump has epoxy inside as the pump is holding less volume of epoxy it is likely to crystalise faster in a small mass than it will in the main tin at low temp. This is the Same advised procedure and advice for most other epoxy pump sets such as the 301 pump sets from west system.
