Vinylester Resins

Vinylester resins are commonly used in the production of fibre-reinforced polymer (FRP) composites. These composites find applications in various industries such as marine, automotive, construction, and corrosion-resistant equipment. Vinylester resins offer good mechanical properties, including high strength, impact resistance, and dimensional stability. They also provide excellent resistance to corrosion, making them suitable for applications where exposure to harsh chemicals is a concern. A Vinylester resin can be processed using various methods, including hand lay-up, spray lay-up, filament winding, and also resin infusion. One of the most notable advantages of vinyl ester resins is their high resistance to corrosion and chemical attack. This property makes them suitable for applications in environments where exposure to harsh chemicals is a concern.
