Marbocote® Fastcote is designed to release gelcoated glass reinforced polyester (GRP) or vinyl ester parts from gelcoated moulds. Marbocote Fastcote is ideally suited for high gloss applications. Marbocote Fastcote is an advanced polymeric resin in a non-chlorinated organic solvent blend. Marbocote 225W gives a high gloss surface by simple wipe application; there is no need for rubbing or polishing. The Marbocote Fastcote is durable and capable of giving many releases per application. It will not contaminate the released surface.

How many releases from my mould will i get using Fastcote rather than my conventional paste wax?
It really depends on your mould as some GRP moulds out perform others , it is not unusual to get up to 15 pulls after the mould has been broken in, you can tell when it needs releasing again when you de-mould the part it will 'drag' or be slightly more difficult to release. It's always best not to try and see how many you parts you can achieve before releasing again, it is good practice to lightly apply every 6 or so lifts from the mould.
