As these rollers are made from PTFE plastic they have excellent non-stick properties, which make them very easy to clean as the plastic is resistant to most solvents such as acetone.
As this tool is plastic there is very little chance of this roller scuffing a gelcoat and scratching your mould and can be ideal for laminates where a gelcoat is not being used risking more contact directly onto an exposed mould surface.
The PTFE plastic head is pretty tough and with regular cleaning between uses can last a lifetime. When cleaning use a laminating brush to scrub the moving parts thoroughly and then either leave to soak or dry off the roller and store ready to use again.
