Our Fibreglass Pond Kits contain all the materials need to create a durable, long-lasting pond lining with a professional finish. All Pond packs are to the following specification:
Lloyds approved Resin (catalyst is included), 2 layers of 450g chopped strand matting, 1 layer of surface tissue, coating of Topcoat (Flowcoat). The table below shows the amounts included in each pond pack.

ALL MATERIALS ARE LLOYDS APPROVED
Our GRP Pond packs are supplied with enough 450g chopped strand matting to give a 2-layer specification which is highly recommended for GRP pond construction.
The kits are supplied with enough 2-446pa low styrene, Lloyds approved resin providing the matting is applied wet on wet with a staggered overlap, this will ensure you do not use up too much resin during application.
If you plan to take the process slow and apply one layer at a time letting each layer cure you may require more resin. Please speak to our technical team for more advice on application. Our kits are also provided with a 30g surface tissue which leaves an easy sanding surface and a much smoother surface to apply the Topcoat giving a high-quality professional finish without a rough random CSM matting texture.
We supply our kits with a Low styrene emission resin to ensure reduced risk of Styrene emissions leaching into water during the post cure.
