Can be used as a PU gelcoat into a mould prior to back filling with soft foam such as gun foam. When removed after 24hours the skin coat will leave a good detailed finish which will flex with the foam. Ideal for soft prop making such as swords, body parts etc.
Apply thinly if a really flexible coating is required. If applied too thick this will reduce flex or in some cases be quite hard.
Please see data sheet tab above for more details
Skin coat part a is a polyether based liquid. it is used as the polyol component in a two component system, which can be processed at 20c or above for the production of elastomers of hardness of approx 80 shore ‘a’. this material is suitable for machine dispensing and should be mixed with skin coat at the indicated ratio.
During processing the material will produce an exothermic reaction. on cooling thermal contraction will result in some shrinkage. mould design should reflect this.
Please see attached Technical Data Sheets and Safety Data Sheets before use.
