This steel wool is favoured by woodworkers and artisans for prepping surfaces of metal and wood before applying lacquers, varnishes, and paints.
It's also suitable for use with chemical stripping agents.
Can also be used for cold metal casting processes, this is a casting process where aluminium, brass, copper or bronze powder are added to a casting resin at approximately 1:1 by volume. simply use the steel wool to rub over your demoulded cast and to expose and reveal the aluminium, brass, copper or bronze finish.
