ESF Technologies Vector Net XP226. The diagonal crossed Technora Aramid fibre allows for flex to occur in the tail, rail, or any other part of the board you wish to use it on. Vector Net increases the boards strength making it less prone to breakage because the load is distributed over a different axis. This axis change also adds a bit of 'spring-back' to the board which can enhance the board's performance and natural flex pattern.
The fabric has a tough superlight grid on both sides of the Technora, thus allowing it to lay down smooth either side up or down.
The diamond pattern is a 1" (50mm) span and is used for SUP's and full bottoms of short-boards.
Technora is a para-aramid fiber made from co-polymers. It was independently developed by Teijin and has been commercially available since 1987.
Main characteristics: Technora has a range of unmatched performance properties, including:
High tensile strength - weight for weight, Technora is eight times stronger than steel Good fatigue resistance.
Long-term dimensional stability. Excellent resistance to corrosion, heat, chemicals and saltwater.
