Can be used with epoxy or polyester resin systems. Please note that the colour will darken when wet out with resin; a sample test should be carried out first to ensure you are happy with the final cured colour. This is a popular cloth for cosmetic carbon parts such as performance car wheel arches, bonnets, side skirts, jet ski parts, etc.
For high-performance parts made with infusion processes, we would recommend using our EC157 infusion epoxy resin system, or, for purely skinning existing parts for cosmetic purposes and adding strength, we would recommend using an epoxy resin with high clarity, such as EVO surf clear epoxy or ECF clear coating epoxy.
For low-budget cosmetic parts where strength is not important, you can use a clear polyester resin with good UV resistance, such as our polyester surfboard resin, or if infusing, you can use our polyester-compatible gelcoat in combination with the 701PAX infusion resin system.
