UNDERSTANDING HOW GLOW IN THE DARK WORKS:
Anything that emits light in darkness is referred to as either phosphorescent or photoluminescent.
Phosphors are unique chemicals that absorb energy from light, storing this energy for a significant period, enabling them to continue glowing for hours, even when the light source is extinguished.
For these pigments to emit their glow in the dark, they need to be charged in light first. The longer the charging period, the longer they will retain their glow. Our pigments can emanate glow for up to 10 hours!
These products are produced using a phosphor called strontium aluminate.
