Milled Glass Fibres 1320 K
Continuous glass strands hammer-milled into small modules of filamentized glass. When mixed with resin will improve the mechanical properties.
VITROSTRAND Milled Glass Fibers, from Owens Corning, are crafted from E-Glass or Advantex® Glass. These fibers are specifically engineered to reinforce foamed polyurethane, thermoplastics, and thermosets, performing excellently under standard conditions. Advantex® Glass merges the superior mechanical and electrical properties of traditional E-Glass with a reduced environmental footprint, being both boron-free and fluorine-free.
Applications:
VITROSTRAND Milled Fibers are versatile and can be utilized to enhance the mechanical properties and surface appearance of thermoplastics and thermoset resins. They are also suitable for various painting applications.
Key Features and Benefits:
Excellent Dispersion: Ensures uniform distribution within the matrix.
Superior Mechanical Properties: Provides enhanced strength and durability.
Improved Surface Appearance: Achieves a high-quality finish.
Storage Recommendations:
To maintain optimal condition, store VITROSTRAND Milled Fibers in their original packaging away from heat and moisture, ideally at temperatures between 15 and 35°C and relative humidity between 35 and 85%. If stored below 15°C, condition the product in the workshop for at least 24 hours before use to avoid condensation.
